Memorial Day has come and gone and planting season is in a frenzy mode.
Last week, I had talked to you about planting a vegetable garden.
Only in New England can you go from record high temperatures to the possibility of a frost in about 36 hours. It’s no wonder that we gripe about the weather!
We continue to have a typical March. March is made up of cold days, followed by warm days and back to cold days.
I hope you have heard it and seen it. In the early morning the birds are singing away.
I don’t think I am alone in wishing that there was no snow on Monday.
March is the cruelest month. Great words of wisdom. As I sit here on Monday writing this column, the snow is coming down.
I am beginning to feel that I could write one column and use it for the last 3 weeks! Rain and all of the associated garden problems continue unabated.
The cloudy and damp weather seems to be continuing indefinitely. A week of sunshine would surely boost the spirits of everyone.
As I am writing this column, the weatherman is calling for a stretch of 5 days of rain and showers.
