Late August is a time when you may think that there is nothing to do in the garden.
The heat and humidity have really set in this week. Maybe this hot weather will help to ripen up all of those green tomatoes on your tomato plants.
It is mid August and the true days of summer have arrived. It is also nice to have some cooler days with less humidity. It makes it easier to work in the garden.
After this weekend, I would guess we could say spring is here. Why is it that we always seem to go from temperatures in the 50’s to temperatures in the 80’s?
You would be hard pressed to think of it as being mid April. The weather just does not seem to co-operate.
